Many products available through Marrinas Boats are backed by manufacturer warranties, while certain services performed by Marrinas Boats may carry their own workmanship guarantees.

Please read this Warranty Policy carefully to understand what is covered, what is excluded, and how warranty claims are handled.


Manufacturer Warranties

Most boats, outboard engines, trailers, marine electronics, and accessories sold by Marrinas Boats are covered by warranties provided directly by their respective manufacturers.

Warranty coverage, duration, limitations, and remedies vary by manufacturer and product category.

Examples of products commonly covered by manufacturer warranties include:

  • New boats

  • Outboard engines and motors

  • Boat trailers

  • Marine electronics

  • GPS and navigation systems

  • Fish finders

  • Trolling motors

  • Batteries

  • Marine accessories

  • Safety equipment

Warranty terms are established solely by the manufacturer and may differ significantly between brands and products.


Marrinas Boats Limited Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in writing, Marrinas Boats does not provide an independent manufacturer’s warranty on products sold through our website.

Our responsibility is limited to:

  • Assisting customers with warranty registration when applicable.

  • Facilitating communication between customers and manufacturers.

  • Helping coordinate warranty claims when authorized by the manufacturer.

  • Providing service recommendations and support throughout the warranty process.

Any repair, replacement, or warranty determination remains subject to the manufacturer’s approval and warranty guidelines.


Product Registration

Certain manufacturers require product registration to activate warranty coverage.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Registering products when required.

  • Retaining proof of purchase.

  • Maintaining service records.

  • Following manufacturer maintenance schedules.

Failure to register a product or comply with manufacturer requirements may result in reduced warranty coverage or denial of warranty claims.

What Is Not Covered

  • Paint deterioration

Improper Use

Improper Maintenance

  • Failure to follow maintenance schedules

  • Lack of winterization

  • Improper winterization

  • Failure to service engines as recommended

  • Use of improper lubricants or fluids

Unauthorized Modifications

  • Structural modifications

  • Engine modifications

  • Performance tuning

  • Electrical alterations

  • Aftermarket installations causing damage

Environmental Damage

  • Flooding

  • Storm damage

  • Lightning strikes

  • Fire

  • Accidents

  • Grounding

  • Collision damage

Transportation Damage

Damage occurring after delivery due to:

  • Improper towing

  • Improper loading

  • Improper transportation

  • Shipping carrier damage

Such claims must generally be filed directly with the responsible carrier or insurer.


Outboard Engine Warranties

Outboard motors are covered by their respective manufacturers.

Examples may include:

  • Yamaha

  • Mercury Marine

  • Suzuki Marine

  • Honda Marine

  • Tohatsu

Warranty coverage, registration requirements, maintenance schedules, and claim procedures are governed by the engine manufacturer.

Marrinas Boats cannot approve or deny engine warranty claims on behalf of engine manufacturers.


Marine Electronics Warranties

Marine electronics are generally covered directly by their manufacturers.

Examples include:

  • GPS systems

  • Fish finders

  • Chart plotters

  • Radar systems

  • Audio equipment

  • Communication devices

Customers may be directed to the manufacturer for warranty service, troubleshooting, or replacement.


Trailer Warranties

Boat trailers are covered by the trailer manufacturer.

Trailer warranties may cover:

  • Structural defects

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Factory-installed components

Items subject to normal wear are generally excluded, including:

  • Tires

  • Brake pads

  • Bearings

  • Lights damaged by misuse

  • Cosmetic wear


Inflatable Boats

Inflatable boats may carry manufacturer warranties covering defects in materials and workmanship.

Warranty coverage does not typically extend to:

  • Punctures

  • Abrasions

  • Improper inflation

  • Overloading

  • Damage caused by improper storage

Customers should follow all manufacturer recommendations regarding inflation pressure, maintenance, and storage.


Service and Repair Warranty

Where Marrinas Boats performs service or repair work, workmanship may be warranted for a limited period as specified on the service invoice.

This workmanship warranty generally covers:

  • Errors in workmanship

  • Improper installation

  • Service-related defects

This warranty does not cover:

  • Manufacturer defects

  • Normal wear

  • Customer misuse

  • Damage caused by unrelated mechanical failures


Warranty Service Locations

Warranty service may need to be performed by:

  • Marrinas Boats

  • An authorized service center

  • An authorized manufacturer service facility

  • A certified dealer designated by the manufacturer

Customers may be responsible for transportation, shipping, hauling, storage, or travel expenses associated with warranty service unless otherwise provided by the manufacturer.


Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marrinas Boats shall not be liable for:

  • Incidental damages

  • Consequential damages

  • Loss of use

  • Lost profits

  • Travel expenses

  • Towing expenses

  • Storage fees

  • Haul-out costs

  • Rental expenses

  • Personal injury

  • Property damage resulting from product failure

The customer’s sole remedy shall be the remedy provided under the applicable manufacturer’s warranty.


Warranty Transfers

Many manufacturer warranties apply only to the original purchaser and may not be transferable.

Customers purchasing used products should verify warranty transfer eligibility directly with the manufacturer prior to purchase.
